Many PSPs already offer embedded payments through PayFac models. But PayFac has two structural limits. First, it locks platforms to a single provider. Software vendors serving global merchants cannot accept that constraint. Second, merchants acquired through PayFac can only use that payment service inside the platform they acquired it through. They cannot take it with them.
The more sales channels with payment capability, the more sales. Merchants need their PSP to work everywhere, not just inside one platform.
